Limes Farm - 10th April 2011
Master H (Harry)
Novice 24 - 67.7% - 1st  -  felt much better than when at Cobham but that could have been because we subsequently found out he had a chill!  Had decided to ride with much less rein contact and try to remember to push him in to the hand rather than hand coming back to get the feel of connection.
Novice 24 - 67.5% - 2nd - again a good test.   Gave him a drink between the two tests, but did not have time to give him a proper rest.  Still tight over the back in the Medium trot work
Charlie Mouse - first time out doing two tests.
Novice 24 - 61% - still lacking confidence, but showing signs of improving
Novice 34 - 63% - still lacking confidence - major nap back to the collecting ring, but once under control and he realised he was not going to get away with it, he knuckled down and worked well.  He did call a bit more in the second test, probably because he had seen Harry.

Cobham Manor - 20th March 2011
Master H (Harry)
Novice 20 - 65.6% equal 1st - test was obviously better than it felt - some 8's which was nice
Novice 37 - 63%  2nd - again looked better than it felt - Harry was a little tense as I had got after him in the warm up - didn't make much dfference!
Charlie Mouse
Novice 37 - 57% bless him - first novice and only his 3rd time out and this was the busiest venue he has been too.  Really pleased - was tense and lost most mark in canter as he was just not going forwards

Limes Farm - 7th March 2011
