Moving on

Well a year has past since we lost darling Deli... Rocky arrived and we have had a few ups and downs... Harry has been a saint and now recovering from being diagnosed with Navicular.

Hopping Harry

With heavy heart I led Harry home the last mile of our hack. Left fore leg not quite right. Gave him benefit of doubt and popped him out but he's not much better. So lots of cold water and some box rest on order.

Why is it....

That if you go out riding in the rain that car drivers think that they too are getting wet And drive even faster past you. Idiots!

Hacking nightmares

Well I thought it was an excellent idea to hack after 9am to avoid the school run. Well that was a mistake. With both the young ones tacked up we encountered the first obstacle at the end of the drive. The local oap in his mobility scooter. The silent menace. Next was the bus followed by dust cart x 2. Then two cars towing noisy rattling trailers. Finally a wheelie bin being taken for a walk. Good news is we all came home in one piece even our nerves were a little frayed

That was an unexpected and unschedules dismount. Thanks mr car driver for not slowing down and frightening my horse

Several thousands of miles

24 hours travelling and two flights from south Africa and we've broken down at clackets. Can't stop giggling as Dom and Tim pushing Dom's white van in to the lorry park. Tims not amused.
